Get your 50/50 tickets while their hot!

We are currently selling tickets for a 50/50 draw to benefit the Library and its programs, including our current children's program and various community-interest seminars.  Tickets are $10 and the winner will be announced live on the "Sounds of Croatia" radio program (100.7FM) on Friday, June 26.  The name of our lucky winner will also be subsequently posted on our web site.  In a 50/50 draw, the size of the prize depends on the amount of tickets that are sold, ie. if through ticket sales $1000 is collected, half that amount or $500 is the winner’s prize, the other half goes to the Library.  Please show your support for our community efforts by purchasing a ticket (or two, or three...) when you are approached by one of our charming members at the Sveti Ante picnic or other community events in the coming week. 

Histerioni children's play "Going to Croatia to see baka and dida" Cancelled for June 21

As summer draws near, our audience has begun drifting off in favour of sunny Sunday afternoons spent playing at the park.  Instead of trying to compete with Mother Nature, we have decided to cancel our last children's play scheduled for June 21, "Going to Croatia to see baka and dida", by our theatre troupe Histerioni.  Look for a slightly re-themed version that we will be offering our children again in the fall.
