LEIPEN, NEDA (nee Maderazza) On November 28th, 2008 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in her 88th year. Predeceased by husband Frank Leipen. Survived by her family in Denmark, brother Ivan and his wife Jane and by nieces Ana and Maja, and grand nieces and grand nephews. She will be missed by many friends including her former colleagues at the Royal Ontario Museum and members of the "Katarina Zrinska" Croatian Women’s Society. Funeral service to be held on Friday, December 5th 12:00 noon at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. West (2 lights west of Yonge St.). A reception will follow the service in the Park Room of the funeral home. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scott Mission or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

RUKAVINA, Nicholas RUKAVINA, Nicholas Elias At Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga on Sunday, April 29, 2007, age 80. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Ana Rukavina of Trnovac, Lika Croatia. Beloved husband of Ann. Loving father of Barbara and David (Donna). Sadly missed by grandchildren Melanie, Jodi, Curtis and Ryan. Dear brother of John (Jean) and Mary (Fred Lambroff). Fondly remembered by nieces Kathy, Judy (Glenn Irving) and Joanne (David Howitt). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at LYNETT FUNERAL HOME, 3299 Dundas Street West in Toronto (one block east of Runnymede). Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. (3055 Bloor Street West, west of Royal York Road) in Toronto. Interment follows at Mount Peace Cemetery (Cawthra Road between Bloor and Dundas Streets) in Mississauga. Special thanks to all at the Intensive Care Unit at Trillium Mississauga. |
